In 1999, Jennifer Lopez released her debut album, On the 6, and the album launched her music career, selling over a million copies on the strength of hits such as “Waiting for Tonight” and “If You Had My Love.” J.Lo followed in 2001, and enjoyed the same success, with hits such as “Love Don’t Cost A Thing.” In that same year, Jennifer Lopez’s performance in The Wedding Planner brought her the distinction of the first female artist to have a top-selling movie and album in the same week. In 2012, she began her first headlining tour, the Dance Again World Tour, starting in Panama and traveling across Lating America. Upon her return, she voiced Shira in the film Ice Age: Continental Drift. Dance Again…. The Hits, Jennifer Lopez’s first greatest hits album, was released in the summer of 2012. The singles “Dance Again,” and “Goin’In” both reached the top of the charts.
