The businesswoman and model Ivanka Marie Trump was born in 1981 to her famous father, business mogul Donald Trump. Before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 for with a degree in Economics, Ivanka began her foray in to the working world as a teen model, posting for such magazines as Seventeen and serving as a runway model for such labels as Versace. She also participated in ad campaigns for such notable labels as Sassoon Jeans and Tommy Hilfiger.
In 1997, Ivanka Trump hosted the Miss Teen USA Pageant, and the appearance became her small screen debut, followed by her appearances in the documentary Born Rich (2003) and appearances on five episodes of The Apprentice in its fifth season. She followed up with a role as a “boardroom judge” on The Celebrity Apprentice in its sixth season.
Although Ivanka has fought for years against the accusation that she lives in her father’s shadow, she is an incredibly accomplished businesswoman and successful in her own right. Most recently, Ivanka Trump wrote the book The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life (2009), and her most recent roles in business include overseeing her own line of fashion accessories. Trump currently serves in an official capacity as Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions for The Trump Organization.
