Celine Dion’s first English album, was released in 1990, and on the strength of the single “Where Does My Heart Beat Now,” the album rocketed to the top of the charts, selling more than a million copies. Two years later, Celine recorded the theme song to the film Beauty and the Beast, with Peabo Bryson, and the single became a number one smash, earning Celine an Oscar and a Grammy. When Celine Dion was released, the single was included, and helped to bolster sales of the second album, which exceeded the first by nearly two million copies. Ultimately, Celine Dion is among the best-selling artists of all time, with international sales exceeding the 200 million mark. Her Vegas performances are a consistent sell-out and she delights her fans with nearly seventy performances each year.
